  Cleaning:
• Clean conditioned water should be poured into the betta fish tank every day if possible, but breaks of a weekend are fine, anywhere from 16oz to a full pitcher. Just make sure your collection container is the same size.
• Water should be room temperature prior to activating the self cleaning system. We recommend preparing the water and allowing it to sit 24 hours before adding it to the betta aquarium.
• Because of the unique betta aquarium design and needs of betta fish, we are able to prevent algae within the desktop aquarium. We do recommend that the betta fish tank not be placed in direct sunlight, as this is a strong contributor to algae growth. If some algae does appear, simply wipe it with a brush and activating the self-cleaning process and all remnants will be removed.

The NoClean Aquariums Self Cleaning Betta Fish Tank is a perfect habitat for betta fish, also known as "Siamese fighting fish". The simplicity of cycling out old water and waste with new fresh water will maintain the appropriate water conditions for your betta fish. The waste water is extremely high in nutrients allowing you to easily recycle it as an organic fertilizer for your plants. This betta fish tank is recommended for betta fish only.
